We’re excited to announce our Game On: Code & Conquer workshop as part of the STEM Pathways for Girls Monthly Workshops series! About the Workshop: With the guidance of James Sanborn, Director of the Santa Fe Creative Coding Initiative, and STEM Santa Fe’s JC Ramirez, this workshop is all about developing coding skills and diving into Apple's Swift Playgrounds through fun challenges! Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience, this workshop will help you unlock new programming abilities. We will be enjoying a dynamic way to code and conquer games in a hands-on environment! 🚀💻
In this workshop, students will develop: 🎯 Swift Programming Basics: Learn core concepts such as loops and conditionals. 🕹️ Problem-Solving & Logic: Apply critical thinking to solve coding challenges. 🔄 Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and fix errors to ensure you code runs smoothly. 🤝 Collaboration & Communication: Work together to brainstorm ideas and solve challenges.
By the end of the workshop, students will have gained confidence in coding and be ready to take on more advanced challenges! 🎮
