Deputy Director

Report to CEO of STEM Santa Fe
Full Time, Exempt
Position summary

STEM Santa Fe is looking for a passionate, high energy team player, eager to help close “the opportunity gap” for New Mexico children, mainly in grade 5-12. We are seeking a candidate eager to embrace our mission and jump into a small team of overachievers to take on daily operational challenges. As the Deputy Director, you will work under the leadership of the STEM Santa Fe Founder and CEO to primarily lead high-quality programming based on effective best practices and to serve as a thought partner and key advisor. The Deputy Director will play a key role in nurturing a positive, highly collaborative work environment, comprising a large number of dedicated STEM professionals and volunteers as well as staff.

Salary and Benefits
$55– $65K USD annual salary (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Programs & Volunteers Coordinator

Report to CEO of STEM Santa Fe
Part-time 20-30 hours/week, Non-Exempt
Position summary

The Programs and Volunteers Coordinator will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to:
-  Actively participate in program planning and work collaboratively with the STEM Santa Fe team (which includes volunteers, teachers, student mentors, interns, and partners);
-  Support the CEO in logistical planning and implementation of high-quality informal educational STEMprogramming;
-  Work directly with and lead a committed and enthusiastic group of volunteers in programs in and out of schools, on field trips, and in workshops;
-  Assist the CEO with recruiting, training and appreciating our volunteers - about 200 volunteers a year work with us, so maintaining a database of volunteers and volunteer hours is also important;
-  Maintain reports, evaluations, logs, forms, and event attendance;

Development & Marketing Associate

Report to CEO of STEM Santa Fe
Part-time 20 hours/week, Non-Exempt
Position summary

The Development & Marketing Associate will collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to develop innovative fundraising approaches and educate the Northern New Mexico community about STEM Santa Fe’s compelling mission. This in-person/hybrid position will include creating content for newsletters and website, engaging in social media, assisting in grant writing and reporting, composing annual reports, engaging donors and parents, and supporting large-scale special events.
